It's just... whether I accept that people find me attractive or not my life gets dangerous sometimes. The last thing I need is someone who might be inclined to follow me somewhere they really shouldn't and leave me with a death on my conscience.

If you find someone inclined to follow you, that person will know the danger and accept it. You cant be always alone,it's not good for the heart. And no matter how hard you try, there's some things you can't control, so don't blame yourself for that. Life can be surprising in good ways too.
